Instructions
Mix all dough ingredients until smooth. Refrigerate 1 hour or more until firm. Combine all filling ingredients and simmer over low flame until tender and thick. Chill. Roll out dough so it's approximately 1/8" thick. Cut into 3" triangles. Place 1/2 teaspoon of cold filling on each triangle and roll into crescent. (Sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar, if desired.) Place crescents on a cookie sheet and bake at 400°F for about 15-20 minutes, until brown. Brush with powdered sugar.

(Makes 2 1/2 dozen Peices).

½ lb. butter
1 8 oz. container Friendship® Cottage Cheese
2 cups flour
¼ tsp. salt
 
Filling
½ cup chopped walnuts
½ cup chopped dates
½ cup sugar
½ cup milk
