Hungarian Style Farmer Cheese Dumplings
Directions:
Mash the Friendship® Farmer Cheese with a potato masher. Add the eggs and the semolina. Mix well until all ingredients form a smooth mixture. Let stand for 3-4 hours (can be made night before and refrigerated overnight). Boil salted water in a 5 quart pot. Make small egg-sized dumplings with wet hands. Add dumplings to boiling water, about six at a time. After 2-3 minutes, use wooden spoon to stir and prevent dumpling from sticking to bottom of pot. After dumplings come to surface, continue to boil for an additional 10 minutes. Meanwhile, fry the breadcrumbs in oil until golden brown. Remove dumplings from boiling water with strainer, and roll them in the fried breadcrumbs. Put them on plates and pour warm sour cream on top and sprinkle with powdered sugar.

4 medium eggs
1 cup semolina (cream of wheat)
2 tbs. oil
½ cup plain breadcrumbs
1 cup Friendship® Sour Cream
Powdered sugar to taste
Salt
