Spicy Sausage Penne
by Christine Ferrell from NC

Cook time: approx. 30 min.

Instructions

Fill a large stockpot with water, add 1-2 tbs. of salt for flavor, and bring to a boil. Once boiling, add pasta, lower heat and cook until al dente.

Heat 1 tbs. olive oil in a large saute pan. Brown turkey sausage on med-high heat. If you are using link sausage, remove casings before browning.

Once sausage is browned, drain and place back into saute pan

Add 1/4 cup chicken broth, which will deglaze pan and lift all the "good" bits from the bottom.

Lower heat to med-low and add arroba pasta sauce.

Cook 10-15 minutes, until heated through.

Right before serving, stir in 1/2 cup Friendship® Light Sour Cream into the sauce.

Drain pasta and mix sauce and pasta together in a large bowl.

Garnish with parmesan cheese and serve.

Serving Suggestions: Serve with a green salad and whole-wheat garlic bread for a healthy family dinner.
