Fiesta Bean Dip Recipe

  • 1 can (16 oz.) refried beans
  • 2 tbsp. taco seasoning mix
  • 2 ripe avocados, peeled and pitted
  • 1 tbsp. fresh lime juice
  • 1 tbsp. chopped cilantro
  • 1 tsp. minced garlic
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 cup Friendship Dairies® sour cream
  • ½ cup corn and black bean salsa
  • 1 cup shredded cheese blend
  • Sliced black olives
  • Tortilla chips


  1. In small pan mix beans and taco seasoning. Cook over medium heat until hot all the way through. Spread bean mixture in bottom of serving dish; set aside. In small bowl, prepare guacamole using avocados, lime juice, cilantro, minced garlic and salt, mashing until smooth. Spread guacamole evenly over bean layer. Top with Friendship Dairies® sour cream then salsa. Sprinkle with cheese and olives. Garnish with lime peel and serve with tortilla chips.
